Meeting logistics

The 2014 OER Annotation Summit will run for two full days, Mon-Tue, June 9-10. We will begin promptly at 9AM and end at 5PM on Monday, and begin again at 9AM and end at 4PM on Tuesday.

We will have fruit, snacks, and coffee available throughout the meeting. We will break for lunch both days (location tbd), and we’ll share dinner on Thu (location tbd). All other meals are on your own.

The Kinzie Room is a single space that we will arrange with several round tables to facilitate breakouts and small-group discussions. We are limiting the number of participants to 40 people to be sure there is plenty of room. We are encouraging participants to help organize the agenda. We will send around a link to an editable draft of the agenda soon.

As explained in the meeting announcement, the emphasis for this Summit will be on implementing actual solutions. We are planning to build in some time for each participant to share their work, as well as some brainstorming and conversation, but we would like to drive toward demonstrable outcomes as much as possible. Come prepared to do some work!
